Meet Rosalinda M.  SAP Process Implementation Manger After nearly 20 years of working in fast moving consumer goods companies with some of Cargill’s business partners, Rosalinda decided it was time to try something different and joined the other side of the business. Starting as a SAP Process Implementation Manager, she quickly took an additional role as a Global IT Tax & Compliance Manager. The main difference she felt when starting with Cargill was that she could work in different businesses within the same company, and that global here means truly global; we plan, act, and make decisions at a global level. She feels that Cargill is going through a great process of digital transformation at the moment, and that it is a unique opportunity to be here now.

Why did you choose Cargill?

Growth and mobility were really important in my decision-making process. I was not looking for another job, I was looking for a place where I could still develop my career in many different ways. I saw a high probability to stay a long time here. The people that I spoke to, the stories I heard. A lot of employees stay 10-20 years with Cargill, that must say something about our company. People come and stay, different from what we see in most organizations. I see daily opportunities to grow and there is mobility. I can work in different businesses within the same company.

How did you hear about Cargill?

I must say this is an interesting story. Someone from the company came to me and started telling me about the opportunity. The size of the company really impressed me, and they told me it was a true global organization. After I joined Cargill, I found out it´s much bigger than I was told. We really collaborate with people and projects in different places all over the world.

What is the best thing about working at Cargill?

When I joined Cargill, with solid career experience, I didn´t have leadership skills. They invested in me, I feel that I was prepared to take on bigger roles for more challenging projects, and so I did. We have many opportunities for real, a lot of learning and global projects. We learn from other people around the globe. And Cargill gives you proper training and guidance to keep growing.

What surprises people when they join the company?

The size of our organization, our structure and the resources available.

We have the chance to leave our mark in the food industry and make an impact in the world. Global collaboration is also something that really happens here. It is not just a promise. You really feel part of this big team spread around the world.
