Meet Silvio B.

Global Business Relationship Manager

Silvio is the kind of person that enjoys a multicultural challenge. Throughout his 20+ career years he had lived in different countries in Latin America until he found Cargill. However, he didn´t have to stop working with different teams, markets and projects as he could combine all of them from the place he calls home. Along his 5-year journey with Cargill, he has had different roles that have allowed him to lead diverse groups in LATAM. When he moved to Cargill, he found an industry that has more to offer than agriculture. A whole food industry with 150,000 colleagues that collaborate globally in a variety of business units in different locations.

He is proud of his contribution to the digital transformation that Cargill needed to support farmers and small producers, thus making a difference in thousands of people's lives and communities. Silvio has been impacting the company and leading different teams and areas such as Infrastructure, Business Integration, SAP and Global Delivery Center Implementation. He feels there is so much yet to grow and to contribute with IT for the business. It is an endless and pleasurable journey with accomplishments, celebrations and new opportunities to do something different.
