What factors attracted you to join Cargill over other competitors?

During my college years, I envisioned myself as part of a multinational company. I wanted to work with a global brand with an excellent track record. Cargill stood out because it operates around the world, is well known and upholds the highest standards.

What are two to three words you would use to describe the Cargill culture today?

The Cargill of today is dynamic, inclusive and diverse!

What does “thrive” mean to you? What does it mean to thrive at work?

Thrive is knowing that your efforts are validated. And the satisfaction of knowing that you’ve contributed something for the company and the world. Thriving is about making a positive impact, changing lives and making a difference.

How has the size and scope of Cargill, the fact that it’s a global company, benefited you?

It allows me to craft and drive my career at the pace that I want. I can expand my skills and work with different functions and people. This enables me to continuously discover new things about myself, for my growth and the growth of my team.

Have you found a strong culture of trust and support at Cargill?

Cargill champions safety and compliance, which to me, help foster a culture of trust.

How does Cargill empower you to take risks? What are some ways the company helps you push the boundaries of your career?

After working here for almost seven years, I’ve experienced firsthand how Cargill empowers its greatest asset, its people. They have a high level of confidence in our ability to carry out plans for the business, giving everyone freedom to grow.

How are diverse opinions and viewpoints celebrated and given space?

Every point of view and suggestion is heard and encouraged at our meetings. Leaders at Cargill encourage all team members to speak up, suggest and challenge specific policies, to arrive at the safest and best ways of doing things.

What is the one thing you’d most like Cargill to be known for as an employer?

I want Cargill to be known as a company that fosters excellent and responsible individuals, conscientious leaders and visionaries.
