Cargill operates two protein facilities in Fort Worth. The first facility, Grind, was established in 2012 and proudly employs approximately 300 people. This facility provides ground beef products to some of the largest grocers and foodservice customers in the country through private-label brands. The second facility, Cooked, was established in 1999 and was acquired by Cargill in 2016. This facility also proudly employs approximately 300 people from Fort Worth and surrounding communities. The facility provides a broad line of specialty meats and sauces to branded food manufacturers and food service operators throughout the United States. Our Fort Worth teams work hard every day to deliver the highest-quality products while upholding responsible safety and food safety practices. Employees donate time and services to organizations such as: Cargill Cares, Tarrant County Food Bank, Salvation Army, United Way, Habitat for Humanity, the City of Fort Worth and other school programs, neighborhood activities and sponsorships.
