Job Purpose and Impact
The Senior Scrum Master – SuccessFactors will oversee the Agile events for multiple Agile teams, help resolve impediments and mentor the teams on how to achieve a stable velocity. In this role, you will collaborate with colleagues in a remote first Agile team environment to create self-organizing teams that are flexible and fully productive during sprints.
Key Accountabilities
- Partner with product owner and development pods to facilitate effective sprints by removal of impediments and ensuring that stories are sprint ready.
- Facilitate cross-module collaboration ensuring SuccessFactors optimizations are flowing, built, and tested appropriately across all functionalities and workflows.
- Elevate teams to a high performing level by recognizing areas of strength and improvement and employing appropriate mentoring and development techniques.
- Cultivate an environment that empowers and energizes team members with a focus on accountability, adaptability, and collaboration.
- Understand Agile values and principles to lead the team to adapt and adopt process improvement to deliver results with predictability.
- Proactively handle risks, impediments, assumptions, issues, and dependencies and ensure they are identified, coordinated, mitigated, or escalated as necessary.
- Facilitate all team events to realize peak engagement and performance.
- Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of four years of related work experience.
- Demonstrated understanding of Agile values, principles, frameworks, and metrics (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
- Experience working within Agile teams using SuccessFactors or other HR technology platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hold one or more scrum certifications, such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP).
- SAP SuccessFactors certified.
- Experience with HR technology ecosystems and automation pipelines.
- Experience using Agile project management tools.
