Demand Planning Manager
Job Purpose and Impact
The Demand Planning Supervisor will oversee a small to medium team of demand planners through the creation of demand plans for a small product offering with medium planning complexity, including data inputs, statistical forecasting, incorporation of commercial intelligence and new or discontinued products. In this role, you will supervise the creation of robust demand plans, work with financial planning teams to monetize this output and lead the business through the demand review of the integrated business planning cycle.
Key Accountabilities
- Provide guidance for maintaining data relative to demand forecasting including hierarchy, historical data cleansing, demand sensing data and forecast model parameters.
- Supervise to ensure process documentation is maintained and current.
- Measure and analyze demand planning metrics targets.
- Guide our teams through measurable outcomes of the integrated business planning cycle.
- Other duties as assigned
- Responsible for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance and disciplinary actions for your direct reports. You will also spend time completing the same tasks as employees on your team.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum requirement of 1 year relevant work experience. Typically reflects 3 years or more of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of supervisory experience
- Two years of demand planning experience
