This position is in our Ag & Trading enterprise, where we connect producers and users of grains and oilseeds around the globe through origination, trading, processing, and distribution. We also offer a range of farmer services and risk management solutions. 

Job Purpose and Impact

The Senior Master Production Planner will convert the long term monthly supply plan into a mid term weekly plan to facilitate material requirements planning and near term staffing activities. In this role, you will handle multiple product lines or sites with medium to high impact on working capital and ensure the connection between integrated business planning activities and tactical production execution.

Key Accountabilities

  • Provide direct input to setting master production planning metrics targets.
  • Provide necessary input to supply planner to support integrated business planning.
  • Maintain data relevant to master production planning activities including planning calendars, material data and location data.
  • Analyze plant capacity and production requisition data to resolve manufacturing plans and required resources.
  • Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Significant experience in master production planning, production scheduling or supply planning

Position Details

• Location: Calgary, Alberta;   Relocation support may be provided
• Schedule is Monday – Friday typically from 6:00am to 2:30pm. 
• The business will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position
