Job Purpose and Impact
In this position, you will look after our customer base in Germany and trade the products from our two oil mills in Salzgitter and Riesa. As part of the trading team, you will actively participate in market and margin discussions and directly execute our trading strategies as buyer and seller. In close collaboration with the logistics, quality assurance, planning and production departments, you ensure smooth processes at the production sites and thus contribute directly to the success of our business.
Key Accountabilities
• Purchasing and selling our crush plants’ products to regional customers, ensuring the facilities are well utilized to maximize profits.
• Analyzing various freight options and customer preferences on the market and optimally implement emerging opportunities.
• Generating position and market overview reports based on available data and market information.
• Close collaboration with the other oilseed teams in Europe.
• Direct exchange with customers, suppliers and other partners to jointly develop new business solutions
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum of two years of related work experience
• Fluent in German and English
