Embedded within the team of the globally operating company Cargill, Delacon researches, develops, and manufactures natural feed additives for poultry, swine, ruminants, and aquaculture at its Engerwitzdorf site (in the Linz area).
This position is in our specialized portfolio enterprise where we serve diverse businesses who support unique customers or markets, including animal nutrition and health, bioindustrial, road safety salt and Cargill joint ventures.
Job Purpose and Impact
The Customer Service Coordinator is responsible for routine, customer-focused order processing activities. In this role, they use their understanding of customer inquiries to manage orders throughout the entire order fulfillment process. They contribute to a high level of transparency, communication, and responsiveness toward our customers.
This position is initially offered as a two-year fixed-term contract, with the prospect of subsequent permanent employment.
Key Accountabilities
- Receive and process customer orders
- Ensure efficient logistics processes and timely delivery of goods
- Communicate with customers regarding order status, invoices, and other inquiries
- Prepare all shipping documentation and review export documents
- Independently manage orders within the assigned regional area, including arranging and coordinating transportation
- Collaborate closely and communicate with internal and external stakeholders (production planning, sales, quality management, customers, freight forwarders)
- Record and manage customer complaints
- Independently identify and implement solutions to customer service and logistics issues
- Proactively identify risks and opportunities within the area of responsibility in order to improve order fulfillment processes
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Completed secondary education diploma (Matura) or an equivalent qualification
- Strong communication skills in German and English (minimum B2 level), both written and spoken
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant professional experience in customer service, order management, logistics, or supply chain operations
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP)

For legal reasons, we must point out that this position offers a starting salary of €2600 gross per month (based on a 38-hour week). Actual compensation will depend on qualifications, experience, and individual skills, and may therefore be higher.
