Senior Capital Project Engineer (Relocation Provided)

Job Purpose and Impact
The Senior Capital Project Engineer will plan, coordinate and monitor internal projects from initiation through completion. In this role you will coordinate and direct activities of fixed duration to ensure that the goals or objectives are accomplished within the determined timeframe and budget.
Key Accountabilities
- Execute strategies to develop assigned projects in areas such as edible oil terminal and packaging manufacturing.
- Monitor project progress, assess issues and recommend resolutions to meet productivity, quality and stakeholder or customer satisfaction goals and objectives.
- Review status of projects and budgets, coordinate schedules, and prepare status reports.
- Coordinate the operational aspects of assigned projects.
- Drive and support integration of, and adherence to, corporate and legal requirements in the design and construction of manufacturing processes, equipment, and utilities.
- Collaborate with regional domain leads for domain specific expertise support in build projects. Develop engineering for small projects and lead engineering for major projects, where applicable.
- Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- Minimum of four years of related work experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of seven years of experience in operations with challenging environmental health and safety aspects
- Experience managing third party resources to deliver business results
- Knowledge of the company's environmental health and safety standards and international standards and codes related to build projects and construction safety
- Previous experience managing a small portfolio of capital projects
- Previous experience with commissioning and startup of projects
- Previous experience in food industry, such as oil refining or packaging technologies/operations
Compensation Information
The expected salary for this position is $115,000 - $140,000. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
