Job Purpose and Impact
Cargill Risk Management (CRM) is the specialized division of Cargill in Commodities Price Risk Management solutions through, but not limited, various over the counter (OTC) products. Its main goal is understanding customer business objectives and create tailor made risk management solutions to mitigate their risks and protect their businesses. CRM partners with most Cargill groups to help them be more successful through securing physical product with embedded price controls and to create differentiation and value for customers. CRM like Cargill is a global business group, covering clients, internal and external, in 70 countries through 20 offices.
The Account Manager role, is a commercial role, focused on supporting other team members and help providing exceptional service to clients. Additionally, to being a commercial support role, is a learning role: the individual is expected to improve its commercial skills and knowledge of the commodities market through time. The individual is expected to be proactive and perform all its tasks/accountabilities with business integrity and in compliance with all applicable laws and financial regulations.
Key Accountabilities
- Development and delivery of sales proposals and conducting detailed presentations for effective product demonstration.
- Build a business plan for each account developing strong client relationships.
- Plan daily activities, including customer visits and establish quantitative and qualitative objectives to achieve.
- Follow market and competition evolution, relaying information to senior staff.
- Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum requirement of 2 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 3 years or more of relevant experience.
Preferred qualifications/skills
- Experience in commodities or price risk management
- Knowledge of futures, options, and OTCs
- Experience on commercial roles
