Shift Available: Rotating 12 hour shift (four (4) days on, five (5) days off, five (5) days on, four (4) days off)
Compensation: $44.30/hr

Principal Accountabilities

  • Install, inspect, calibrate, maintain, and repair industrial instrumentation and control equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and automated control systems
  • Maintain and support process control systems, instrumentation networks, and electrical control panels
  • Read and interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, loop drawings, and technical manuals
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot instrumentation including: Pressure transmitters, Flow meters, Temperature sensors (RTDs and thermocouples), Level transmitters, Control valves and actuators
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on instrumentation and automation equipment
  • Calibrate and validate process instrumentation to ensure accurate operation and compliance with specifications
  • Support commissioning, testing, and startup of new equipment and automation projects
  • Diagnose and resolve equipment failures to minimize downtime
  • Assist with PLC programming modifications and system upgrades
  • Maintain documentation, maintenance records, calibration records, and equipment histories
  • Ensure compliance with company safety standards, policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma or Certificate in Industrial Automation, or related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in industrial manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of industrial automation and control systems
  • Experience working with: Allen-Bradley PLCs and HMIs, Siemens PLCs, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Ethernet/IP and industrial communication networks
  • Ability to calibrate and troubleshoot a wide range of process instrumentation
  • Experience with electrical control panels and industrial electrical systems
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and P&IDs
  • Proficient with testing and calibration equipment
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant certifications related to automation and instrumentation technician
