Packaging Material Supply Planner

Job Purpose and Impact
The Packaging Material Supply Planner is responsible for preparing, issuing, and managing the packaging material plan for the European edible oils bottling business. In this role, you will translate production requirements into an accurate and sustainable packaging material plan that supports business operations.
You will collaborate with Production Scheduling, Sales Support, Sourcing, and external suppliers to help ensure the timely availability of packaging materials. You will build effective working relationships with local and international suppliers, facilitating clear communication and coordination across the supply chain. In addition, you will monitor supplier performance through established metrics, identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and contribute to a reliable and efficient supply process. Through proactive planning and supplier management, you will support uninterrupted production operations and effective inventory management.
Key Accountabilities
- Translate production schedules into packaging material requirements and plans.
- Create, maintain, and monitor inbound packaging material plans.
- Manage packaging material contracts and inventory levels.
- Track and review supplier performance against established metrics.
- Support packaging-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma, secondary education, or equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with data and processes.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Professional proficiency in English and Dutch, both written and verbal.
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in an administrative, customer support, operations, supply chain, logistics, order management, sales support, or other business support environment.
- Experience using SAP or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- Basic understanding of financial and accounting concepts.
- Ability to balance customer, business, operational, and commercial priorities.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders and suppliers in a fast-paced environment.
