Job Purpose and Impact

The Sales Support Specialist supports the implementation of sales strategies and operational objectives that enhance customer experience and business outcomes. This role leverages knowledge of sales processes to assist in managing regional customer accounts, strengthen customer relationships, and identify opportunities to maximize value for both customers and the organization.

Key Accountabilities

  • Support the execution of sales processes for regional customer accounts and address day-to-day operational issues to help meet customer requirements and service commitments.
  • Assist the Sales Manager with routine operational activities, following established procedures and guidelines, while supporting productive relationships with customer stakeholders at various levels.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate the accurate and timely execution of sales processes and related activities.
  • Coordinate change management processes and support the development of packaging solutions in partnership with customers and cross-functional teams.
  • Assist in creating customized customer reports and track customer requests within defined business areas.
  • Help maintain accurate data across systems, databases, and administrative tools.
  • Resolve routine issues within established guidelines and escalate more complex matters to the appropriate team members when needed.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent relevant experience
  • Experience in customer-facing operational or commercial support roles, such as sales support, order management, contract administration, logistics, supply chain, or similar functions
  • Professional proficiency in English and French (written and spoken)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work effectively in a fast-paced environment and support business objectives
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including intermediate-level Excel skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with SAP or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
  • German language skills
