FFB Origination Officer
Job Purpose and Impact
The FFB Origination Officer will administer local buying program. Scan of total market (smallholders, plantations, FFB broker) and prepare map of industry landscape. Provide insights into day to day FFB dynamics to help develop local area’s buying plan or strategies.
Key Accountabilities
- Coordinate origination administrative tasks, including setup, checking, and verification of vendor-related documentation and processes.
- Monitor production performance on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to ensure targets are met and issues are promptly addressed.
- Ensure smooth execution of payment processes and general administrative duties, maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain effective communication and coordination with the Mills team, independent farmers, and unloading personnel at the mill to support seamless operations
- Coordinate point capture and overlay requests with the GIS team and verify planting year information with ASD/GIS for new vendors or land expansions.
- Collaborate with the sorting team to address any complaints from vendor farmers regarding FFB unloading activities at the mill.
- Coordinate the preparation of reports by the origination admin, including yield reports and budget forecasts.
- Carry out responsibilities in accordance with the role of FFB Area Manager Origination.
- Request daily FFB delivery quotas from vendors and communicate estimated incoming fruit volumes to the mills.
- Conduct regular checks on competitor pricing in surrounding operational area.
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in any field (preferably Bachelor of Agricultural or Business Administration)
- Preferable have 2 years of working experience in a commercial function.
- Has good communication skills, english proficiency is not mandated but preferred.
- Computer literate and proficient in using basic office applications.
- Demonstrates a positive working attitude and professional approach.
- A self-starter with a proactive mindset and the ability to work independently.
- Flexible and adaptable to dynamic changes in business, market, or industry conditions.
- Experience in organization is an advantage
