Job Purpose and Impact

  • Industrial relations specialist  help build a workplace culture that values employee wellbeing and fairness. With limited supervision, this job develops and implements moderately complex employee and labor relations policies and procedures, including assisting with employee and labor relations based investigations, providing recommendations and consultative support on how to handle employee and labor relations issues, and building a positive employee experience. This job also supports the negotiation of collective bargaining agreements, and handles grievances and disputes.

Key Accountabilities

  • Conducting HR function in the field of Industrial Relation.
  • Ensure company HR policy and procedure are implemented accordingly.
  • Ensure all administration procedure and the complete formalities document is conducted accordingly.
  • Conduct and monitor administration procedure : Jamsostek, Manpower Dept, Immigration, Hospital, Clinic, etc.
  • Assist Sr. HR/GA Manager (and/or HR Spv) in handling industrial relation disputes in accordance with labor law.
  • Database keeper related Industrial Relations (Disciplinary Action etc)
  • Data Analysis related Industrial Relations (Outturn, turn over, grievance)
  • Oversee the Employees disciplinary enforcement (absence, etc).
  • Assist Sr. HR/GA Manager coordinate Community Development Project.
  • Responsible to understand, support, conducting and also communicating the valid “Program Assurance” such as : EHS, ISO 14001 and 9001, Food Safety, RSPO and ISCC.
  • Other duties as assigned by superior.

Qualifications

  • Minimum requirement of 2 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 3 years or more of relevant experience.
  • Minimum Diploma/ Bachelor level degree or equivalent in Law, Management or Human Resource
  • Fluent in english, both writing and speaking (Mandatory)
  • Have experience in palm plantation oil company (more preferred)
  • Have good planning skills, organizational, analytical and decision making skills
  • Good communications skills
  • Tactful and discrete when dealing with people and confidential information
  • Willing to be located in remote area.
