Job Purpose and Impact
The Agronomist will provide input and drive implementation of sustainability strategies and programs. In this role, you will work across supply chains, with businesses, corporate team members, outside industry groups and with downstream customers with a goal of delivering practical sustainability solutions that enable the business to grow and customers to be more profitable. You will help to develop, train and influence the team to gain proficiently in positioning and engaging customers in sustainability programs and offerings.
Key Accountabilities
- Help farmers enroll on the platform and use new solutions to be more profitable.
- Manage relationship with the farmer together with the team (enrollment communication, post-harvest communication, pre-planting communication, post-planting communication).
- Drive the execution of project plans and work directly with suppliers and internal stakeholders to build engagement and trust between the customer community and the business while at the same time develop training tools, workshops and learning sessions to assist with internal and external execution.
- Develop methods to evaluate the progress of complex sustainability initiatives.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that sustainability efforts have a limited impact on productivity or quality standards.
- Gain expertise and an understanding of various external programs, sustainable production schemes and digital technology solutions and common sustainability programs that the industry is using to engage customers.
- Develop and assess viability of complex strategies meant to support conservation, increase usage of renewable resources, reduce energy costs or wasteful output.
- Analyze operations to accurately identify our environmental footprint, including energy usage and gas, water or other waste emissions.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Proficient knowledge of sustainability and environmental initiatives
- Minimum of two years of related work experience
- Business proficiency in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Project management and client delivery knowledge
