This position is in Cargill’s food and bioindustrial business, where manufacturers, retailers, and foodservice companies rely on us to consistently deliver the products and services they need, and use our technical expertise and market knowledge to develop innovative products. 

Job Purpose and Impact

The EIA Planner prepares routine and non-routine maintenance work, manages resources and tools to ensure the smooth operation of electrical systems, instrumentation and automation. In this role, you will organize the maintenance and repair of various technical systems and equipment.

Key Accountabilities

  • Ensure that all systems and equipment function electrically without issues and comply with company and legal requirements.
  • Introduce, monitor and maintain best practices to increase operational efficiency and reliability.
  • Create and adjust maintenance plans based on maintenance strategies and feedback from craftsmen and external companies.
  • Conduct error analyses, plan repair and adjustment measures, implement and adjust automation systems.
  • Assess risks associated with electrical work & installation and implement & monitor corresponding safety regulations.
  • Carry out repair and replacement projects.
  • Monitor technical work.
  • Participate in planning and improving maintenance strategies.
  • Ensure operational processes by participating in on-call duties.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Technician/Master in Electrical Engineering or Bachelor's degree in an electrical engineering field.
  • Professional experience in this area.
  • Proven knowledge of relevant regulations, rules, and standards in the field of electrical engineering.
  • Fluent in German, both spoken and written.
  • Basic knowledge of English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with a process control system (e.g., ABB Freelance).
  • Experience with the company information system SAP, especially with the maintenance module SAP PM.
  • Medium voltage switching authorization.
