This role spans multiple product categories and involves collaboration with suppliers, R&D, commercial teams and global partners to implement new packaging solutions.

In this position, you will work on complex projects to develop and test a variety of containers designed for product protection, display, and handling across multiple categories and plants. The Packaging Developer will also contribute to digital transformation and data transparency in packaging compliance.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and validate new packaging solutions aligned with business needs across all Food EMEA categories.
  • Lead PPWR-compliant design changes and support regulatory compliance initiatives.

  • Coordinate projects involving the design and implementation of packaging for new or existing products across multiple categories and facilities.
  • Plan and conduct packaging laboratory studies to support material and design changes.
  • Prepare cost estimates and deliver packaging laboratory services for development projects, package qualification, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with vendors, business leaders, R&D, marketing, product development, and production teams to strategize and implement innovative packaging solutions.
  • Build, modify, and test product materials for durability and cost-effectiveness; advise on efficient packing procedures.
  • Independently manage complex issues with minimal supervision, escalating only the most critical matters.
  • Support digitalization and data transparency for packaging compliance and traceability.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
