Sanitation Worker
Job Purpose and Impact

The Sanitation Operator I, will perform housekeeping and sanitation processes using basic equipment and following sanitation schedules and safety processes. In this role, you will maintain good housekeeping and sanitation conditions to ensure food safety regulations and other local regulations are met, prevent failures and maintain safe work areas.

Schedule: 2nd shift 1:00 pm - 9:00 pm or 2:00 pm-10:00 pm
Compensation: $18.38/hr

Key Accountabilities
• Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
• Maintain a food safe work environment by maintaining hygienic work conditions
• Comply with all GMP, safety, sanitation and any other plant rules as established by the company
• Follow all Food Safety (HACCP), & GMPs policies
• Utilize cleaning tools and supplies
• Document completed tasks using the master sanitation schedule
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
• Ability to perform physical job duties which may include walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb stairs regularly and lifting up to 50lbs
• Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice
• Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat / cold (temperatures ranging of 65 degrees F up to or exceeding 100 degrees), dust, loud noise, humidity (near or over 80% to ultra-low less than 40%) with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Basic Computer skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• High school degree or GED equivalent
