This position is in Cargill’s food and bioindustrial business, where manufacturers, retailers, and foodservice companies rely on us to consistently deliver the products and services they need, and use our technical expertise and market knowledge to develop innovative products.
Job Purpose and Impact
The Digital Marketing Specialist will execute the defined digital marketing strategy and business plan within the assigned one or more digital channels, explain the relationship to the broader organization's mission, vision and values and partner cross functionally to achieve business goals. In this role, you will apply your general knowledge of digital platforms, systems and tools to develop content for a digital presence.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead moderately complex digital marketing campaigns and several aspects of the execution plan, such as digital marketing campaign planning and execution, content creation and posting, web updates, campaign optimization, email marketing and digital channel integration.
- Support digital channel management through use of front end interactive technologies, including usability, design, user interface and device strategy, facilitating an understanding of engagement metrics and tracking performance analysis.
- Routinely deliver moderately complex reporting & analytics to support the category marketing plans
- Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences and independent discovery.
- Track and analyze performance metrics across digital strategies and contribute to adjust approaches to drive continuous improvement across digital channels.
- Support the development of search engine optimization planning and activities to increase organic web traffic.
- Support the development and delivery of paid search, social media and display advertising.
- Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of related work experience
- Experience in digital campaign execution
- Experience with digital agencies
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in search engine optimization execution
- Experience with Salesforce, Oracle, Marketing Cloud, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Adobe Analytics or Asana
- Experience in website content execution
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- More than 3 years of related work experience
Position Information
- Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position.
- This hybrid position is located in Wayzata, MN
- Up to 10% of travel based on business need.
- The expected salary for this position is $70,000 – 90,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
