Shipping & Receiving Clerk I
Job Purpose and Impact
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk I, will perform routine processing of inbound and outbound shipments, follow established policies and procedures and works under frequent guidance. In this role, you will complete activities involved with the receipt and documentation of the shipment and receipt of goods and ensure documentation and record keeping is accurate.
Key Accountabilities
- Review and complete shipping and receiving documentation, enter information into computerized systems and raise issues as needed by working with basic knowledge of processes and procedures.
- Support the cycle count processes.
- May stabilize trucks with chocks and load and unload vehicles.
- Operate mobile powered equipment.
- Identify continuous improvement of facility operations relative to area of responsibility, with limited authority to make changes, as defined by management.
- Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures including equipment lock ins and outs and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
