Job Purpose and Impact
The Advisor, Ground Beef Sales Manager - Walmart will expand our partnership with one of Cargill’s largest strategic customers. In this role, you will lead cross-functional collaboration across Commercial, Marketing, Innovation, Supply Chain, and Strategic Pricing to deliver differentiated solutions that meet evolving needs and strengthen Cargill’s position as a preferred partner. This position is based in Rogers, AR.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and implement strategy for designated key customers to grow volume, improve margin and extend strategic partnership
- Establish trust, a mutually beneficial and long-term partnership with Walmart, clarify mid to long term customer needs and develop tailored solutions
- Lead customer-facing meetings across a variety of topics – innovation, product quality, demand planning, and oversee the development of materials for those meetings
- Collect insights from the external market to understand competitors and influence trends, define and deliver value proposition
- Support internal cross-functional stakeholders to deliver integrated customer solutions, ensuring alignment across Commercial, Marketing, Innovation, Supply Chain, and Strategic Pricing
- Provide expert thought leadership in your field and work with limited direction, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problems. You may provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum requirement of 6 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 10 years or more of relevant experience.
- Strong project management skills
- Proven negotiation track record
- Demonstrated experience managing complex customer relationships and driving strategic growth
- Ability to travel up to 20%
Preferred Qualifications
- Retail, beef, and Walmart systems (DDIR, Retail Link, Scintilla, NOVA) experience
- Direct sales experience with national retail customers
- Ability to apply retail category management, consumer insights, and data-driven decision-making to drive growth
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
