PURPOSE

The Buyer II will support sourcing activities across multiple countries and/or business units. In this role, you will execute medium and high complexity procurement tasks, contribute to category strategies, and ensure alignment with global and regional sourcing objectives.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Execute medium to highly complex sourcing events, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.
  • Drive the implementation of regional sourcing decisions and support sourcing strategies.
  • Provide insights and inputs to the regional category team for strategy development and execution.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of regional stakeholders, market trends, and procurement landscape.
  • Monitor and manage continuous relationships with regional suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Follow established procedures to select suppliers for procurement of non-contracted materials, goods, services, and supplies.
  • Conduct negotiations and administer key steps until contract signatures and its implementation for goods and services.
  • Ensure cost optimization, risk mitigation, and sustainability considerations in sourcing decisions.
  • Independently resolve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, escalating more complex matters as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing or equivalent experience and related fields.
  • Procurement or sourcing experience.
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Basic english and at least one additional language relevant to the region (Spanish or Portuguese).
  • Experience working with procurement best practices and category management.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and other procurement tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication with stakeholder and supplier management skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in regional or multi-country sourcing.
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements and sustainability initiatives.
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) are a plus.
