Job Purpose and Impact
The Credit Risk Analyst will review credit risk for corporates, banks, farmers and sovereigns for the trade and capital market business in the region by developing a holistic view of risks on counterparties and products as well as focused and timely execution. In this role, you will assist to provide both business and fiduciary insights into the business risks of our trade and capital markets in the region. #LI-AM4 #LI-Hybrid
Key Accountabilities
Perform financial statement data input and analysis of counterparties including assignment of ratings as well as the written evaluation of counterparty strengths, weaknesses and financial condition and provide an assessment on their repayment ability.
Conduct stress tests and market research as required by senior team members as well as monitor counterparties and markets in anticipation of potential negative impacts.
Partner with origination, structuring, legal and senior team members to ensure high quality of due diligence on counterparties and respond to queries from internal stakeholders.
Prepare and handle information and reports to ensure strong accurate reporting standards.
Communicate with external counterparties including trade and capital markets clients.
Actively look for ideas to improve existing processes and methodologies.
Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Cashflow forecasting experience
Previous experience in credit analysis in the financial services industry for agribusiness, ideally with international exposure
Mandatory advanced English skills
