Job Purpose and Impact
The Origination Trader will drive business origination for the debt capital markets segment in Brazil. In this role, you will develop new business opportunities and solidify existing relationships with existing and prospect Cargill clients (from farmers to mid/large corporate profiles) support growth initiatives. You will develop and understanding of customer's needs and provide them with debt capital market financial solutions that fit those needs. (#LI-ES2)
Location: São Paulo
Key Accountabilities
- Collaborate with financing and trading teams to develop new debt capital market transactions with existing and prospect customers in the assigned geography, growing the business to achieve revenue objectives and prospecting market and industry research.
- Develop deep understanding of existing and alternative debt capital market structures and market these structures to new and existing customers, according to their suitability.
- Develop, together with existing commercial teams, deep knowledge of the customer business strategy and explore and develop new industries related to debt capital markets in the assigned geography.
- Ensure proper risk and structure understanding and compliance of the operations applicable to debt capital market origination.
- Develop and structure financing origination proposals that represent maximum value optimization to the customer and business and address the customer's key issues, needs and requirements.
- Develop and maintain deep relationships with strategic internal and external stakeholders.
- Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Understand corporate and debt capital Markets financing
- Knowledge of debt capital markets
- Solid of related work experience
- Advanced English knowledge
- CPA 20 certification (desirable)
- Availability to travel (around 30%)
