Job Purpose and Impact

The Product Development Specialist III will develop market plans and on approval, controls the implementation of all aspects of these plans. In this role, you will provide technical advice and support customers and field staff during and after the sale of scientific products. You will identify and implement technical solutions against business goals.

Key Accountabilities

• Work with research and commercial brand to develop short and long term testing programs for experimental and commercial products and hybrids.
• Monitor development throughout the season, collect biological information and data from field and strip plots.
• Develop and implements market plans that include market strategy, sales coordination, pricing proposal and distribution.
• Stay current with literature and analytical advancements and work with limited supervision on daily tasks.
• Identify product growth and new product opportunities modifying plans to meet opportunities.
• Manage technical service partners to identify customer needs and translate these into new product development opportunities.
• Analyze and interprets market data to take advantage of opportunities and minimize adverse trends.
• Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree
• Understanding of the application of analytical instrumentation principles, concepts, practices and standards
• Prior experience in Product Management
