Commodity Analyst
Job Purpose and Impact
The Supply and Demand Analyst I, will retrieve, analyze and summarize data to develop business intelligence, optimize effectiveness and predict business outcomes. In this role, you will help gather, analyze and interpret marketplace trends and customer data to create product development strategies.
Key Accountabilities
- Conduct some analysis requiring a basic knowledge of the commodity or market.
- Contribute to research of competitor behavior including marketing strategies, pricing, sales and methods of operation.
- Help monitor market conditions, trends and competitors to project demand and inform product launch timing.
- Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
- Other duties as assigned

- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
