Job Purpose and Impact
The Senior Operations Buyer will provide routine activities within established procedures and limits for one or more sourcing categories or locations, execute procurement transaction processes and procurement records, provide location procurement support, handle supplier events and relationships and implement sourcing strategies.
Key Accountabilities
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of procurement systems and buying channels, complemented by excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Brings a detail-oriented mindset and a proactive approach to solving complex and multifaceted issues.
- Facilitate the implementation of sourcing strategies and process changes in alignment with strategic sourcing strategies and policies.
- Collaborate with process lead and team manager on the maintenance of ongoing tracking mechanisms for basic performance metrics and information documentation at the local levels as assist with process improvement efforts.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on procurement processes, procedures and requirements and prepare basic summary reports to support procurement and strategic sourcing teams.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of relationships with suppliers and provide responses to business contacts and customers directly to deliver accurate information.
- Execute procurement transactions to ensure the end to end purchase order process is completed in alignment with strategic sourcing strategies and policies and perform invoice discrepancy resolution.
- Handle moderate to complex issues and problems with minimum direct supervision, while escalating high-level problem to appropriate staff /Process lead/.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Fluency in English – written and verbal
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning
- Experience working in shared service operations
- Minimum of three years of experience in procurement or invoice to pay processes
- Customer service experience
- Additional language /Dutch, German, Italian/ will be considered as a plus
