Job Purpose and Impact

The Production Excellence Engineer II is responsible for fostering a culture of excellence and turning it into a competitive advantage to help improve manufacturing processes and products. In this role, you will provide guidance on process capabilities, risk analysis, performance monitoring, technical training, and significant improvements to business processes. You will provide technical expertise to production supervisors for improvements and problem-solving, collaborate with the production excellence team to identify projects and benchmark processes, and work directly with local operational teams to implement manufacturing improvement plans.

Position open only to candidates from Brazil.

Key Accountabilities

• Provide direct updates on the objectives of the project you manage, performance metrics, issues, and risks to the team and senior leadership.

• Assist the local team in analyzing performance and identifying opportunities through key indicators, manufacturing cost reports, and steady-state operations, generating sustainable value year after year.

• Identify, monitor, and implement best practices for continuous improvement.

• Contribute to the development and management of continuous improvement plans for low-cost, low-risk projects, achieving and maintaining project goals.

• Act as a champion of the culture of operational excellence by conducting methodological training; implementing operational standards; supporting problem-solving through structured analysis; leading the rollout of local strategies; and promoting performance analysis focused on indicators, costs, and operational stability; all aligned with best practices in the manufacturing excellence system.

• Independently resolve moderately complex problems with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to the appropriate team.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience;
• At least two years of relevant work experience;
• Yellow Belt certification;
• Experience implementing continuous improvement projects in industry and/or with operational excellence management systems (TPM, WCM);
• Intermediate English Level.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

• Advanced English;
• Green Belt certification;
• Intermediate Power BI;
• Knowledge of process monitoring and analysis tools, such as PI Vision and SEEQ.
