This position is in Cargill’s agricultural supply chain business. We sit at the heart of the supply chain, partnering with farmers and customers to source, make and deliver essential products.
Job Purpose and Impact
The Operation Execution Trainee - Vessel Performance, will ensure coordination of low to moderate complexity freight post fixture processes and tasks. In this role, you will ensure compliance with contract clauses and the international and port regulations related to the freight, vessel, or commodity trade. You will execute the controls established by the appropriate functional areas, support Cargill Vessel Performance Team and evaluate and maintain relevant performance data.
Key Accountabilities
Ensure that contractual and actual data are accurately maintained in the systems to allow for in-depth analysis of fleet performance. This includes identifying opportunities for optimization and maintaining a performance database to efficiently support voyage execution.
Foster relationships and communication with dedicated counterparties, customers, or owners to ensure thorough comprehension of specific invoicing requirements, prompt reply to inquiries and timely escalations of disputes.
Conduct standard analysis on risk exposure, process improvement and contract clauses and recommend next steps and new contracts to more senior members and commercial function.
Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree- finished or last year in a related field or equivalent experience
Fluency in English
Preferred Qualifications
Experience or knowledge in the field of Junior Marine Engineer or Junior performance specialist will be considered a strong advantage.
