Principal Accountabilities
- Learn maintenance and reliability practices to ensure all assets are maintained in safe condition while continuing to ensure the life of the equipment being used
- Complete preventative, predictive and reactive industrial maintenance throughout the facility under general guidance
- Have a basic understanding or are trained on operating standard maintenance tools such as power tools, basic hand tools, electric tools, precision maintenance tools and preventative maintenance technology tools
- Understand or learn at least one maintenance trade and components (i.e. electrical, welding, pipefitting, fabrication, gearbox and bearing maintenance, lubrication, pumps and piping systems, mechanical maintenance and hydraulic and pneumatic systems)
- Modify by reading step by step instructions in either electrical or mechanical schematics, blueprints and operation manuals
- Document completed work and the conditions found utilizing maintenance computer software and interact regularly with peers and management
- Operate forklifts and scissor lifts from designated locations with little variation
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to work with a variety of hand tools
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
- Maintenance experience and electrical maintenance
