Job Purpose and Impact
The Marketing Communications Lead - Brand Strategy & Planning, Pet & Backyard Poultry will lead the execution of marketing communications activity to effectively represent the products, services, brands and the organization to customers and consumers. In this role, you will apply your full knowledge to understand business needs, directly contribute to the achievement of objectives, translate marketing communications strategies into appropriate content and promotional materials for multiple channels, and partner with senior stakeholders to manage high impact projects.
Key Accountabilities
- Execute and lead large scale, multichannel marketing communications and promotional activities such as promotions, advertising, sponsorship, partnerships, social media, direct marketing, and events, ensuring all materials and content are on brand.
- Implement marketing and brand strategies and complex programs in collaboration with sales, marketing specialists and technical teams.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to lead multiple high impact campaigns for the assigned products or projects, developing innovative ideas appropriate to the marketing strategy from concept development to final product delivery.
- Apply full knowledge of marketing and communications tools to create graphic presentations that clearly communicate the product, solution, or brand messages to meet business objectives.
- Apply knowledge to translate brand strategy into powerful copy, video, photography, and stories that drive a desired action and demonstrate a thorough activation of strategy.
- Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of four years of related work experience consumer package good brand marketing or related field.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in high-impact consumer communications
- Experience managing agency partners to drive effective consumer campaign and strategic media plans.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience with marketing strategy, content planning and delivery.
- Experience in pet food marketing.
- Experience in CPG and B2C.

Applicant Information
The expected salary for this position is $90,000 - 130,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
