This position is in Cargill’s agricultural supply chain business. We sit at the heart of the supply chain, partnering with farmers and customers to source, make and deliver essential products.

Job Purpose and Impact

The Rail Trade Execution Coordinator will execute and administer cross border exports of agricultural and oil commodities in a timely and accurate manner. 

Key Accountabilities

  • Coordinate, prepare and send all export documents to ensure timely clearance.
  • Coordinate and align with external and internal stakeholders to resolve execution issues, assisting as necessary.
  • Analyze and monitor risk.
  • You will work under general supervision and independently solve moderately complex issues while referring more complex problems to a higher-level staff.
  • Working weekends, holidays and after hours will be required at times.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or associates degree with 3 years equivalent experience.
  • Minimum requirement of 2 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 3 years or more of relevant experience.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of export documentation, Incoterms, railroad logistics and grain commodities.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performance.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrated confidence to take initiative to solve problems with sense of urgency.
  • Enthusiastic, self-motived and responsible with an ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet critical deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-cultural and cross functional environment.
