Job Purpose and Impact
The Risk Solutions Advisor will be a trading domain specialist and craft risk management programs and strategies for both new and existing customers. In this role, you will independently generate income and control risks by performing more complex trading work, with a higher risk tolerance.
Key Accountabilities
- Apply a deep comprehension of trading practices and procedures to develop, explain and execute the strategies and books for a specific commodity, market or customer based on customer needs.
- Provide expert thought leadership in your field and work with limited direction, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problems. You may provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor.
- Monitor and explain profit and loss on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- Independently handle and monitor higher trading positions and exposures.
- Work with strategic brokers, customers and agents, as needed, to manage and monitor higher risk trading positions.

Additional Posting Detail
The expected salary for this position is $175,000 -250,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum requirement of 6 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 10 years or more of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Dairy or livestock market experience
