Job Purpose and Impact

The Senior Analyst, Derivatives Operations for our Risk Management Group (RMG), will lead the daily post trade derivatives operations for the defined regions and activities. In this role, you will be a primary daily business facing contact that services the day-to-day needs of the businesses. You will partner with key stakeholders to develop and implement the key controls to ensure we meet the daily operational priorities of the businesses and the operational compliance and accuracy of the end-to-end derivatives transaction flow, including data and reports. You will lead the process standardization and optimization and develop new solutions, deliver projects e.g. continuous improvements to enhance automation and implement the transformation, as well as partner with key external contacts such as clearing brokers and vendors to ensure effective daily derivatives operations.

Key Accountabilities

  • Partner with key stakeholders, external clearing brokers and vendors to manage complex daily derivatives activities and ensure any significant differences are resolved and communicated appropriately.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to monitor and maintain derivatives policies, business & legal entity account structures, products and limits in compliance with regulatory agency requirements, company policies and third-party agreementswithin deadlines and compare against limits, escalate and resolve breaches of limits.
  • Validate derivatives reports and reconcile trading differences by line of impact with key stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance of operations and monitor points of control.
  • Develop and implement process simplification, enhance process standardization, optimize reporting and drive automation and transformation processes.
  • Lead risk management best practices and improvement initiatives.
  • Build the team's capability to ensure a high performing team.
  • Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of four years of related work experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in finance operations with a knowledge of financial risk management and related financial processes, particularly derivatives trading operations
  • Experience in leveraging digital technology in trading, operational, reporting and analysis processes
  • Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese

Compensation and Location Info

Location:

This role is out of our Wayzata, Minnesota Headquarters. 

Compensation Data:
The expected salary for this position is $90,000 - $120,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
