This position is in Cargill’s food and bioindustrial business, where manufacturers, retailers, and foodservice companies rely on us to consistently deliver the products and services they need, and use our technical expertise and market knowledge to develop innovative products. 


Job Purpose and Impact

The Digital Enablement Lead will serve as the functional expert for Cargill Food North America Enterprise’s self-service portal, myCargill.com, leveraging a deep understanding of applications, systems, and business processes to design innovative solutions that address customer needs and drive digital transformation. This role will be pivotal in advancing the knowledge and efficiency of both internal and external users, enabling optimal utilization of the system. In this position, you will play a key role in aligning the future direction of self-service portals with our overall business strategy. You will also lead functional and process support, including participating in user testing, validating, and maintaining data, responding to complex user inquiries, facilitating system training, and monitoring performance metrics to drive stabilization and ongoing process improvements. By collaborating with senior stakeholders and coordinating across departments, you will ensure the portal evolves to meet business goals and deliver measurable value to our customers and to Cargill.

Key Accountabilities

  • Collaborate with the Digital Technology Product Owner and cross-functional stakeholders to align strategies and lead business actions to achieve organizational goals.
  • Contribute to current and future state planning, cutover activities, and complex system enhancements, partnering with global information systems personnel to ensure seamless execution.
  • Facilitate customer engagement by delivering demos, managing onboarding processes, and providing ongoing support to enhance satisfaction and drive adoption.
  • Monitor adoption metrics, gather internal and external feedback, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to track success and guide continuous improvement efforts.
  • Partner with business subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify and implement new features, enhance processes, improve user interfaces, and coordinate data sustainment activities to deliver measurable value that can be scaled globally.
  • Ensure alignment across teams by communicating strategy and roadmaps, preparing training materials, and sharing updates and major issues with leadership, impacted end users, and other applicable stakeholders.
  • Anticipate challenges and proactively resolve potential issues to minimize user impact and maintain operational excellence.
  • Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of four years of work experience in digital enablement, business process management, system administration, or related field.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with senior internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with a track record of managing multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Demonstrated experience leading digital transformation initiatives or projects.
  • Advanced understanding of sales processes and customer journey maps.
  • Certifications such as Six Sigma or Salesforce Administrator; or related experience.
  • SAP experience.
  • Familiarity with Cargill systems, processes, or the Food North America business.

Applicant Information

The expected salary for this position is $95,000 to 125,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
