This position is in Cargill’s protein and salt business, where we provide wholesome, high-quality food products to a wide range of customers, from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters.
Job Purpose and Impact
The Strategic Customer Sales, will strive to obtain the maximum direct and indirect sales and market share for the assigned products. In this role, you will provide technical support to achieve the assigned goals in the line they are marketing.
Key Accountabilities
- Monitor and measure the monthly performance of the objectives versus budget and implement actions to reach them.
- Improve the product performance by providing in depth technical advice and training to customers, territory leaders and distributors.
- Collaborate with market development on activities including development and delivery of product demonstrations, sales offers and presentations to channel partners and distributors.
- Recognize, calculate return and investment and pursue new market segment and business development opportunities for new specialized distribution, development of distributors and specialized stores.
- Build profitability of the line, through the execution of work plans by territory, constant prospecting, implementation of campaigns according to seasonality, service and product portfolio.
- Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of four years of related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with XLGO, PARXL, and SAP.
- Experience in the beef industry.
