Job Purpose and Impact
The Truck Sourcing Specialist will provide subject matter experience in the efficient movement and transportation of materials and products across the Refrigerated truck mode. In this role, you will manage key internal and external stakeholder relationships and rely on current, up to date knowledge of industry market practices and trends to find the most practical and cost-effective solutions for a range of freight sourcing activities.
Key Accountabilities
- Apply a general understanding of transportation and logistics practices and procedures to assist in negotiating freight prices and contract terms for customers.
- Analyze moderately complex transportation operations practices to resolve process and cost improvement opportunities.
- Foster key stakeholder relationships internally and externally for all freight sourcing activities.
- Provide industry market updates related to the transportation related activities of the business to inform strategic decisions.
- Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum requirement of 2 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 3 years or more of relevant experience.

- Location: Wichita, KS & Wayzata, MN
- Schedule: Monday to friday | 8:00am-5:00pm (flexible) | Hybrid role: (3 days at office, 2 days at home)

- Sick and Safe Leave accruals of one hour for every 30 worked, up to 48 hours per calendar year unless otherwise provided by law.
- The expected salary for this position is $62,000.00 - 105,000.00. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
